Learn More About Me

My name is Maggie Deer and I am a current student at Butler University pursuing a degree in elementary education with diverse learners and mild intervention minors. Butler College of Education has prepared me so well to enter the education and take it by storm. I am looking forward to graduating in the Spring of 2023 with a license in Kindergarten - 6th grade. 

I am involved on campus through greek life and have held two postions with my chapter. My Butler family has given me so many opportunities to grow and learn. I am passionate about serving others and finding new ways to get involved in the community.

Something I am proud of is my podcast created with two current Butler students and one alum called Wiggle with Words. It is an education podcast which helps young readers move their body and mind to reading readiness. We are featured on Spotify.

I am the oldest of four children and have two amazing parents. I am from Naperville, IL and graduated from Naperville Central High School in 2019.
